Motorcyclist Dies, Search On For Fugitive

(CHATHAM, ON) – The Repeat Offender Parole Enforcement Squad is requesting the public’s assistance in locating a mam who is wanted for three counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking, two counts of failure to comply with recognizance, and failure to attend court.

Rashane Jarrett is described as a black male, 29 years old, 5′ 6”, 150lbs, with a tattoo sleeve on his right arm, from shoulder to bicep, and a tattoo on his left forearm with the word “LOVE.”

Jarrett is known to frequent the Oshawa, Ajax, Scarborough, and Chatham areas.

Motorcyclist Dies In Lakeshore

The Ontario Provincial Police in Lakeshore, along with Essex-Windsor EMS, and Lakeshore Fire, were called to a single vehicle crash at approximately 6:40pm on August 9, on East Ruscom River Road in Lakeshore.

A motorcycle with a single rider struck a telephone pole and died at the scene. The OPP Technical Collision Investigation Team was called to investigate the cause of the crash.

East Ruscom River Road was closed for several hours.

The name of the deceased will not be released until next of kin has been notified.
