Folk Music Fest In Search Of Volunteers

(KINGSVILLE, ON) – The success of every major festival relies directly on the volunteers who selflessly assist in the production of the event. The Kingsville Folk Music Festival is no different and is calling all volunteers for help with the 5th annual showcase.

The Folk Fest runs from August 10 through August 12 at Lakeside Park in Kingsville. Volunteers, however, will also be part of the planning and operation of the festival. Organizers call the volunteers the “backbone and the foundation of the festival.”

”This year, we are hoping to recruit for a variety of positions, including ticket sales at the gates, security, and positions requiring Smart Serve certification,” said festival co-founder Michele Law. “Volunteers are required to work a  minimum of 3 four-hour shifts over the course of the festival weekend. They receive a weekend pass and meals are provided as well.”

For more information on volunteering, contact the volunteer coordinator by email or by calling 343 302-5897.
