(WINDSOR, ON) – Hot on the heels of the Bluesfest Windsor announcement that Extreme will headline the Thursday evening of the 4-day festival, three more artists have been revealed by organizers.
Taking the stage on Friday will be none other than Pat Travers Band. Get ready to rock as Canadian-born Travers, along with bassist David Pastorius and Tommy Craig on drums, close the July 13 lineup. Best known for Boom Boom (Out Go The Lights) and Snortin’ Whiskey, Travers lays down the licks with the rugged pureness of a smokey dive bar.
Following Pat Travers Band on Saturday will be Grammy Award winner Jonny Lang. The blues come alive when blues-guitar prodigy Lang personifies the late Stevie Ray Vaughan. The multi-platinum selling musician burst onto the music scene at 14 years of age with the hit Lie To Me. The depth and passion is strongly demonstrated his body of work an shows why he’s shared the stage with the Rolling Stones, BB King, and Buddy Guy.
Beth Hart closes the show Sunday when the Grammy-nominated blues-rock powerhouse shows why she is topping the music charts. Her no holds barred vocals draw you back to a time when straight up honesty was a musical mainstay. Hart has performed and recorded with greats like Joe Bonamassa, Jeff Beck, and Slash, providing the gritty and soulful statement of confident intensity to perfectly match their guitar stylings.
