(WINDSOR, ON) – On May 16, Windsor Police was dispatched to a business in the 1900 block of Ambassador Drive for a possible break and enter. An alert citizen reported seeing a suspicious person who appeared to be breaking into the business.
Officers began setting up a perimeter and spotted the man. He was seen exiting the business and running toward Malden Road.
The WPS Canine Unit arrived and the man was apprehended by Police Service Dog Hasko. He was placed under arrest on break and enter related charges. Officers learned that the man was breaching curfew conditions from a previous offense.
Daniel Parker, 34, from Windsor, was charged with break and enter, possession of break-in tools, and breach of recognizance.
