Vandals Cause $20K In Damage

(PETROLIA, ON) – On July 16, the OPP investigated a serious incident which occurred at the Flats in Petrolia over night.

A tent, which had been set up for an event, had 12 panels slashed by someone using a sharp blade. Additionally, about 150 folding chairs were thrown about the property.

The estimated cost to repair the damage is close to $20,000.

The OPP’s Lambton Crime Unit and Scenes of Crime officers are involved with the investigation. Anyone with information about this case is asked to call the OPP at 519-882-1011 or Sarnia- Lambton Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
