Reko Now Expanding

(LAKESHORE, ON) – Local factory automation company, Reko International Group, has officially announced expansion plans which the company says will help increase its customer base and sales. The Lakeshore-based company will construct a manufacturing and innovation facility in a new building adjacent to its current operations on Silver Creek Industrial Drive.

The company estimates the new building will cost approximately $5.5 million with a completion date in early in 2018. With the new space, Reko expects to be able to increase offerings of automation equipment, molds, and machining services.

By increasing what it offers its market Reko expects to generate additional sales.

The company was founded by the late Steve Reko in a small location in Windsor in 1976. It began manufacturing its own brand of computer numeric control milling machines in 1986 and was listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange in 1994.
