(CHATHAM, ON) – On March 31, an OPP officer on general patrol along Highway 401, near Communication Road in Chatham-Kent, saw the driver of a Honda Pilot exceeding the speed limit.
The vehicle was stopped and, while speaking with the driver, the officer determined that he had been consuming alcohol.
The driver was then transported to the Chatham detachment for further testing.
Mohammed Oturakci, 31, of Powell, OH, was charged with failing to provide a breath sample, driving while ability impaired, speeding, and driving with liquor readily available.
Oturakci is required to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice on April 18, to answer to the charges.
