Driver Charged After Leaving Roadway

(PETROLIA, ON) – On February 14, the OPP were alerted, by a concerned motorist, to a pick-up truck being driven in an erratic manner, on Nauvoo Road at Townsend Line, in Bosanquet Township. As the OPP responded, the pick-up truck left the roadway and crashed into an open field.

Due to the collision, the driver and three passengers were injured. All of the occupants required medical attention, including one of the passengers was sent to hospital with serious injuries.

Alyssa Miller, 27, of Bosanquet Township, was arrested and charged with impaired driving causing cause bodily harm, exceeding 80mg of alcohol causing bodily harm, and driving without a license.

Miller will appear in a Sarnia court on March 13, to answer to the charges.
