Blenheim Man Charged With DUI

(KENT BRIDGE, ON) – On July 2 around 11:00pm, the OPP found the driver of a white Jeep Liberty, on Wildwood Line near Kent Bridge Road, committing a traffic violation. After completing a traffic stop, and while speaking with the driver, the officer determined that the driver had been consuming alcohol.

The driver was transported to the Chatham detachment for further testing. Steven Russell, 46, of Blenheim, was charged with driving while impaired and driving with more than 80mg of alcohol in his blood, contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada.

Russell is required to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice on July 19 to answer to the charges.
