Make Your Online Transactions Safer

(LAKESHORE, ON) – This morning at 9:00am, the OPP introduced their newest tool to help fight crime. Project Safe Trade was introduced to create a safe environment for people to meet and to make safer internet market place transactions.

As fraud and theft are seemingly prevalent crimes in today’s world, Project Safe Trade looks to combat this by providing an option for both proposed buyers and sellers of online goods. A designated area in the public parking lot of Lakeshore OPP detachment will be marked as a Project Safe Trade zone.

Tecumseh OPP has been promoting Project Safe Trade since April of this year.
