GMO-Free Windsor Hosts Save The Bees

(WINDSOR, ON) – The Sierra Club Canada Foundation ‪SaveTheBees‬ Campaign is kicking of its cross country tour March 17 in Victoria, BC, and will visit cities and towns across Canada to talk about pollinators, pesticides, and what we can do.

The Windsor event will be hosted by GMO-Free Windsor-Essex. The public is invited the public to attend the upcoming event scheduled for April 1, at 7:00 pm. It will be held at the Caboto Club in Windsor Hall.

John Bennett, the National Program Director at the Sierra Club, and Paul McKay, author of The Kepler Code, will be speaking and answering questions about the threat of neonics and the importance of healthy pollinator populations.

Also speaking will be Tom Congdon, from Sun Parlour Honey, in Cottam, and member of the Ontario Bee Keeper’s Association.

A suggested entrance fee of $5 to $10.

Prior registration is required as space is limited.
