Classic Lit In Online Book Club

(CHATHAM-KENT, ON) – Chatham-Kent Public Library (CKPL) is inviting you to join a free, online book club created by Recorded Books. It is called the Literary Classics Online Book Club.

The Literary Classics Online Book Club is specially tailored for people who enjoy reading and talking about classic literature. This year, five classic books are offered for reading and discussion.

Each book will be featured for two months. Throughout each book’s first month, participants can read the book and CKPL will post fun and interesting facts about that literary classic on the library’s social-media outlets.

In the second month, CKPL will post discussion questions for participants to read and comment upon.

You may read the print, electronic, or audio version of the classic book one month, then join in on the online discussion the next month, as questions are asked and answered through the library’s Facebook and Twitter accounts.

March’s title will be Little Women by Louisa May Alcott, with online discussion taking place in April.
