Help To Make Windsor GMO Free

GMO Free

By Linda Pearce

(WINDSOR, ON) – GMO Free Windsor-Essex is a local, non-profit group dedicated to the education and awareness of genetically modified organisms in our food supply and their impact on our community. GMO Free Windsor-Essex is promoting organic gardening and eco friendly lifestyles.

This Saturday, April 26, there will be a Spring Fling Bazaar at the local community centre located at 1957 Head Avenue in Windsor. The Spring Fling will run from 10:00 am until 3:00 pm and will help to fund an organic community garden. In turn, the produce from the garden will help to feed the local community, volunteers, and food banks.

The ground breaking ceremony will take place the first week of June, so stay tuned for details.

Please join GMO Free Windsor-Essex for a fun filled family day including a barbeque, face painting, local vendors, and much more.
