City Tax Bills In The Mail

(WINDSOR, ON) – The City of Windsor 2014 Final Property Tax Bills have been mailed.  If you have not received your tax bill by today, call 311. Failure to receive a tax bill does not exempt property owners from paying their taxes.

A penalty of 1.25% is added immediately after the due date on any missed payments, and interest of 1.25% is added on the first day of each month thereafter on any cumulative principal balance outstanding.

Due dates for payment are July 16, September 17, and November 19.

Property owners who are having trouble keeping up with their property tax payments are encouraged to seek lower cost financing alternatives, which are available through local financial institutions. Assistance through the City for property taxes is provided by way of the Tax Repayment Program, available to all property owners (up to 60 months), or the Tax Relief Program,  available to residential property owners that meet the set thresholds with an application deadline of February 28, 2015.
