Man Resists Arrest

(CHATHAM-KENT, ON) – The Chatham-Kent police have arrested a man in connection with a disturbance early this morning in Wallaceburg.

Shortly after 12:30 a.m. officers were called to a residence on Hilda Avenue in regards to an intoxicated man who was causing a disturbance.  Upon arrival, officers observed the man outside on the front yard and confirmed that he was currently bound by a curfew condition and to abstain from consuming alcohol.  As the officers placed the man under arrest, he pulled away in an attempt to free himself and began kicking at the officers while resisting arrest.
