Clippers Take Mimico Tournament

(TORONTO, ON) – The Windsor Clippers went 3-0 at the Mimico tournament in Toronto on Sunday to close out the 2012 training camp. At the conclusion of the tournament the Clippers trimmed the roster down to the 23 man league maximum.

The Clippers opened the day against the Hamilton Bengals with a 8-2 victory. The Clippers then pounded the Orillia Kings 11-3 and closed the tournament with a 6-1 victory over the host Mimico Mountaineers.

The Clippers now prepare for the regular season opener when they will travel to Brampton on April 28th to take on the Excelsiors. The Clippers will play the first five regular season games on the road before the home opener on May 12th against the Elora Mohawks. Game time at Forest Glade Arena is 7:00pm. Tickets are $7.00 for Adults, $5.00 for Seniors and Students and children under 12 are FREE
