Windsor Man Facing A Dozen Charges

(TILBURY, ON) – During the evening of Valentine’s Day, the OPP responded to a report of a collision on Highway 401 near Merlin Road. The driver had lost control of the vehicle and entered the centre median.

While speaking with the driver, the officer determined the he had been consuming alcohol. The driver was transported to the Chatham detachment for further testing.

Keith Sargent, 36, of Windsor, was charged 12 traffic related offenses, including driving while impaired, driving while disqualified, failing to comply with conditions of an undertaking, and using a plate not authorized for his vehicle.

Sargent is required to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice on March 9, to answer to the charges.
