Firefighters Complete Roof-Top Rescue

(CHATHAM, ON) – Two men completing roofing work on a home in Chatham required rescuing after a left malfunction left them stranded three storeys in the air. The men became trapped on the roof after the safety on the zip-boom they were using engaged, disabling the unit.

Enter Chatham-Kent firefighters from Station 1 to deploy an aerial truck to return the men to ground level.

No injuries were reported.
