Computers Delay Trucks Entering US

(WINDSOR, ON) – Once again, US-bound trucks were backed up along Huron Church as US Customs dealt with “systems issues” at the Ambassador Bridge.

The commercial traffic entering the US is delayed due to the computer problems being experienced by US officials on the Detroit side of the bridge.

A similar incident on April 26, which lasted hours and piled up trucks as far south as Highway 3, was the latest in a long line of delays caused by computing issues before today’s incident.
