Carding Review Underway In Windsor

Yesterday and today, Windsor Police Chief Al Frederick and other senior officers have been meeting with Justice Michael Tulloch, a judge of the Ontario Court of Appeal.

Tulloch is currently touring the province and meeting with residents and officials with regards to an independent review of the implementation of the regulation introduced last year on the arbitrary collection of identifying information by police, also known as carding.

A public consultation is scheduled in Windsor on April 9 from 6pm until 8pm at the St Clair College Centre for the Arts.

More information about Tulloch’s review can be found online.
