Windsor Woman Arrested For Pawning Stolen Goods

(CHATHAM, ON) – In November of last year, a residence on English Line in Chatham was broken into and an estimated $20,000 worth of electronics and jewellery was stolen. As part of the investigation a detailed list of stolen items was provided to police by the homeowner.

The investigators, including the CKPS Intelligence Unit, learned that, on two separate occasions, a woman pawned some of the stolen items.

Yesterday morning, Lyndsay Gendreau, 30, of Grandview Avenue in Windsor, was arrested and charged with two counts of possession of property obtained by a crime under $5,000 and two counts of fraud under $5,000.

Gendreau was released with a future court date of July 19.
