(WINDSOR, ON) – Fresh on the heels of massive storm-related flooding which swept the city on August 28 and 29, city councilors are holding Ward consultation meetings with residents starting tonight in Ward 1. From 6:30pm to 8:30pm, South Windsor dwellers will meet at the Pulford Road recreation centre to address their concerns.

Again for just two hours, Ward 6 residents will gather at Collavino Hall at the WFCU Arena on September 14, starting also at 6:30pm. They will be followed by Ward 5 constituents on September 19 at John Atkinson Memorial Community Centre, again at 6:30pm.

Ward 9 residents will begin their meeting at 7pm on September 27 at Roseland Public School while downtown citizens of Ward 3 will go the next day at the central branch of Windsor Public Library between 6:30pm and 8:30pm.

The denizens of Sandwich’s Ward 2 are scheduled to meet on October 3 at Mackenzie Hall, beginning at 6:30pm. Forest Glade Arena will be the site of the Ward 7 meeting on October 5 at 6:30pm.

Residents of Ward 10 will congregate at the Fogolar Furlan on October 11 at 6:30pm followed by Ward 4 voters meeting at the South Walkerville branch of the library on Ypres Avenue on October 24 at 6:30pm.

Finally, St Theresa Church Hall on Norman Road will receive residents of Ward 8 for the last of 10 forays into the pubic realm on October 26, at 6:30pm.

Those attending the meetings should expect the meetings to be conducted with opening remarks by the incumbent councilor followed by the isolation of residents in small one-on-one discussions with city administrators.
