Who Has the Best Washroom?

(WINDSOR, ON) – A company with operations in Windsor is about to scour the country looking for the best non-residential washroom. Nominations are open until June 16 for Canadians to enter washrooms which are a little beyond the ordinary.

They might have stunning stalls or fascinating faucets.

Cintas, a supplier of uniforms and cleaning products, is the company behind the search. Its assistant marketing manager, talks of how important impressive washrooms are.

Candice Raynsford said neat and tidy with a little extra, “… plays a pivotal role in the customer experience. Many customers won’t return to an establishment with unclean washrooms.”

Nominations will be accepted online at for the eighth annual Canada’s Best Restroom contest.

Last year’s winner was a service station in Whitecourt, AB. Its secret to success was decorative lighting and eye-catching wall tiles, paired with sleek countertops.

The contest is open to any general public, non-residential restroom in Canada.

Judging criteria cover cleanliness, visual appeal, innovation, functionality, and unique design elements. The winner will receive a so-called royal restroom treatment and in-kind services.
