(WINDSOR, ON) – On Wednesday, the Drug and Gun Enforcement Unit of the Windsor Police Service was active in a drug trafficking investigation. Officers were granted a search warrant for a residence in the 300 block of Rankin Avenue.
DIGS officers entered the house and arrested a man who was located inside. Police also located and seized a quantity of drugs and money including 523.6g of cannabis marihuana, $2,345 CDN, two digital scales, packaging, and three cell phones.
A Windsor man, 22, was charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking and then released on a promise to appear with a future court date.
