(LaSALLE, ON) – On August 15, Windsor Police notified the LaSalle Police Service about a motorcycle which had recently been stolen and last seen near St Clair College and heading toward LaSalle.
LaSalle officers quickly converged on the area and found a man stopped at the XTR gas station, located at Huron Church Line Road and Disputed Road, with the motorcycle. Before he could get back on the bike and flee, police arrested and handcuffed the man.
Upon searching the man, police located and seized a number of baggies containing several grams of marijuana, cannabis resin, MDMA, cocaine, and almost 90g of meth. The man was found to already have been released on previous charges for possession of controlled substances and was now in contravention of specified conditions.
The Windsor man, 35, has been charged with several offences including, possession of stolen property, breach of undertaking, possession of controlled substances, possession of controlled substances for the purpose of trafficking, and possession of a prohibited weapon. He was held in jail for a bail hearing.
