(WINDSOR, ON) – The Labours International Union of North America Local 625 is in the process of recruiting 500 construction workers needed for projects in the extended region in response to what it calls a booming industry.

LiUNA is looking for experienced, skilled construction trades along with post-secondary school graduates, and college and university students seeking a career as a construction craft worker. The jobs come with the highest pay scale in its industry along with benefits and a retirement pension plan.

Free training and pre-apprenticeship earn-while-you-learn positions are also available.

To fully explain the opportunities, LiUNA will hold job fairs Wednesday, June 14 in Windsor’s Holiday Inn at 1855 Huron Church Road from 3:00pm to 8:00pm. There will also be fairs in Leamington, on June 21 at the Days Inn, and in Chatham on June 28 at the John D Bradley Centre. Both will also run from 3:00pm until 8:00pm.
