Earth Day Clean-Up Along Little River

(WINDSOR, ON) – The Rotary Club of Windsor, in partnership with City of Windsor, the Safety Village, and Neighbourhood Watch Windsor, will be hosting the 6th Annual Earth Day Little River Clean-up Project, on Saturday, April 22, at 10:00am until 1:00pm.

Volunteers will walk the riverbanks and surrounding area picking up debris starting at Derwent Park and Little River and moving south from EC Row to Little River Golf Course.

This environmental project aids water quality by removing potential contaminants, adds safety and quality to the soil by the removal of plastics, metals, and glass, and beautifies the great outdoors.

Volunteers should wear bright and proper clothing and should remember that they may get dirty.

Residents from across the city are invited to participate in this event which gives back to the community. Gloves and lunch will be provided.
