(CHATHAM, ON) – On February 4, a member of the OPP, on general patrol on Park Avenue East, in Chatham, saw a brown GMC pick-up truck committing a traffic violation. The vehicle was stopped and, while speaking with the driver, the officer determined the driver had consumed alcohol.
A roadside screening test was administered and the driver registered a Fail. He was transported to the Chatham detachment for further testing.
As a result, David Boal, 34, of Bothwell, was charged with driving with more than 80mg of alcohol in his blood.
Boal is required to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice on March 1, to answer to the charge.
