Zoetic Monuments At ArtSpeak

zoetic-monuments(WINDSOR, ON) – Zoetic Monuments is a collaborative exploration of narrative portraiture between artists Melissa Marchant and Laura Service. This exhibition experiments with story telling through painted portraits of fictionalized characters.

Over the course of their time in the gallery, each painting will undergo subtle changes, at the artist’s hand, nightly. The result will be a series of portraits which will react to one another, mirror each other, and ultimately tell a narrative which will be documented in a short publication.

The Zoetic Monuments exhibition takes place from April 6 to the 11 in ArtSpeak Gallery, at 1942 Wyandotte Street East, in Windsor. There will be a closing reception on Saturday April 11 from 7:00 pm until 10:00 pm.

Copies of the documentation of this exhibition will be sold at the reception.
