WPS Make Quick Arrest In B&E

(WINDSOR, ON) – Shortly before noon on August 4, police officers were dispatched to a Windsor residence, located in the 1200 block of Victoria Avenue, for a break and enter in progress. Information was received that a resident had arrived at home and observed an unknown man standing on his front porch. The complainant approached and the man ran into the residence and locked the door behind him.

The home owner opened the door with his key and saw that some of his belongings were moved around and out of place. He concluded that the man had broken into the residence.

Windsor Police arrived to search the residence and the surrounding area, but officers found that the suspect had left the residence. Police learned that three interior units had been ransacked.

Officers located a man, a short distance away, who matched the description, and he was placed under arrest. The suspect was allegedly found to be in possession of some items that belonged to some of the residents as well as a small quantity of cocaine.

Bradley Walker, 26, of Windsor, is charged with three counts of Break and Enter, two counts of Possession of Stolen Property, and Possession of Cocaine.
