Windsor Police Seize Election Records

By Ian Shalapata

(WINDSOR, ON) – The Windsor Police have made application, and been granted by Justice Renee Pomerance, to seize all the City of Windsor municipal election documents including completed ballots and ballot boxes.

On Thursday, February 26, an injunction was served upon Susan Hirota, of the City’s legal department, and officers with Windsor’s Fraud Investigation Unit executed the warrant. They seized and secured all the documentation at 400 City Hall Square, as well as all electronic files in the possession of the City Clerk’s Office.

Both the fraud investigators and city officials have declined comment.

The Superior Court of Justice order prevents the City from destroying any election materials which was scheduled to commence February 26.

More details as they become available.

Well done Sherlock Holmes. Outdid yourself this time.
The wheel of justice grinds slowly but exceedingly fine and the wheel has begun to turn.
We live in exciting times. The best is yet to come.

  2. I would not be surprised if the police find the election rigid, there is no transparency at city hall. If the police find there has been foul play, I hope our justice systems throws the book at those responsible.
