Windsor Library Expanding Collection Of TV Series On DVD

(WINDSOR, ON) – Over the next several weeks, Windsor Public Library will be expanding its collection of popular classic TV Series to meet customer demand. Available on DVD, customers will be able to enjoy 200 new titles, in addition to the 1,400 already in the collection, which is heavily used.

“No matter what your viewing preference, Windsor Public Library will have something for you,” said WPL CEO Kitty Pope. “The new titles run the gamut from Little House on the Prairie to The Simpsons and everything in between, including Game of Thrones, Cheers, The Big Bang Theory, and Homeland.”

Of the TV series presently available at WPL, close to 200 titles have circulated more than 100 times with Fawlty Towers, starring Monty Python’s John Cleese, the number one circulating series at 414, followed by the Scottish detective drama Rebus, based on the Inspector Rebus novels by author Ian Rankin, at 254 checkouts.

Customers can explore the available TV series, as well as all of our materials, by accessing  the online catalogue. When looking for TV series, enter DVD-SERIES or RDVD-SERIES in the search criteria.

The loan period for DVD TV Series is two weeks unless the title is considered a high demand item, in which case the loan period is one week.
