Pair Sought By Police

(WINDSOR, ON) – Windsor Police are searching for two suspects after an assault and robbery left a man in hospital Monday morning.

At around 9:30 am on July 27, officers were dispatched to an apartment building in the 900 block of College Avenue for a report of an assault. Upon arrival at the scene, police found a 48 year-old man being treated by EMS and learned that he had been beaten by two other men shortly before.

The man had entered the laundry room of the apartment and found two men who appeared to be attempting to break into the coin-operated laundry machines. When he confronted them the pair assaulted him. They fled the area after taking a quantity of cash from the victim.

The man was transported to hospital and treated for non-life threatening injuries.

The first suspect is described as a white male between the ages of 25 and 30, about 6’ 1” tall, and weighing around 250lbs. He had medium length brown hair and was wearing blue jeans and a white t-shirt.

The second suspect is also a white male, aged from 30 to 35 years, about 5’ 9” tall, and between 230 and 250 lbs. He was also last seen wearing blue jeans and a white t-shirt.
