(WINDSOR, ON) – On July 23 before midnight, police were dispatched to the 6700 block of Roseville Garden Drive for a report of a man that had possibly been stabbed. Upon arrival, EMS was on scene treating a 32 year-old man who had a 6″ to 8″ cut across the left side of his chest.
The complainant indicated that he had observed the victim stumble on the sidewalk and then collapse on his front lawn. He then went to the victim and observed the injury and had his wife call 911.
Police spoke with the victim who reported that he was walking from Jefferson Blvd, on Roseville Gardens Drive, and crossed paths with another man. The two exchanged words.
They had a consensual fight and then the victim began to feel severe pain in his chest. He realized he had been cut really bad and he walked away.
The suspect is described as a white male, middle aged, approximately 5′ 9″ tall, and with an average build. He was wearing a black or dark navy t-shirt and pants, and a baseball hat.
