By Chris Woodrow

(WINDSOR, ON) – Your neighbourhood library is the perfect place to enjoy March Break activities.

The Windsor Public Library’s 2015 Children’s March Break Program begins March 16 at community libraries across Windsor. Each year, thousands of children attend the public libraries to play, read, and learn about all the resources available to them, free of charge.

March Break activities run through Saturday, March 21.

The theme for 2015 is Fun Days.

“Windsor Public Library is the perfect March Break destination for learning, leisure and fun,” said WPL CEO Kitty Pope. “Our goal is to provide kids with loads of entertaining and educational programs which will introduce them to the many events and resources available at the Windsor Public Library.”

Some of the featured events include:

  • Technology Days;
  • Makey Makey Days;
  • Talents Shows;
  • Games and Puzzle Days;
  • Stories and activities related to Diary of a Wimpy Kid:
  • March Break Movie Marathons.

All programs at the library are free. All you need is a library card.
