(COLCHESTER, ON) – Lavender enthusiasts from across the county are encouraged to come out to Serenity Lavender this weekend to participate in the 4th Annual Lavender Fest. This event is free to the public and there will be a variety of activities and entertainment to excite the entire family.
Serenity Lavender is a local lavender producer and gift shop, and is in preparation of the 4th Annual Lavender Fest, taking place on Saturday June 27 and Sunday June 28, from 10:00 am until 5:00 pm, at 130 County Road 50 East in Colchester.
“The lavender will be in bloom and for those who haven’t been to the farm,” said Suzanne Dajczak, the proprietor of Serenity Lavender. “This is a perfect opportunity to learn the language of lavender and to enjoy the music, art, artisans and festivities of the day.”
Some elements of Lavender Fest have changed this year, as Serenity Lavender has combined two events, Lavender Fest and Kids Fest, into one exciting weekend.
For the lavender lovers, there will be tours of the Lavender Labyrinth, fresh lavender lemonade, live cooking demonstrations using lavender, fresh lavender bunches available for purchase and much more.
For the rest of the family, there will be artists and artisans selling their original works, food trucks, live music, crafts and appearances from the Stilt Guys and Just Clowning Around.
Admission and parking are free to the public.
15% of proceeds from Lavender Fest will benefit Copps for Kids.
