On Tuesday, CKPS received information regarding possible pot plants growing in a corn field in Orford Township. Officers discovered five different locations and seized 130 plants in various stages of growth.

The plants, with a potential street value of $130,000, are destined for destruction.

In a separate incident yesterday, police executed a warrant at a Chatham residence where they located crystal meth and an assortment of drug paraphernalia and packaging materials, along with a small amount of Canadian currency.
