Bring Something, Show Something, Share Something

Train-of-thought-map(WINDSOR, ON) – Jumblies Theatre’s massive cross-country community arts Train of Thought tour is coming to Windsor. Join the travelling artists between Caron Avenue and Janette Avenue, on the banks of the Detroit River, June 13 from 2:00 pm until 5:00 pm.

Bring your picnic basket and something, an object, person, image, or memory, to talk about. The artists will spend some time exchanging stories about place, home, and travel, and contribute to a group project which will be housed in the Arts Council’s office.

Windsor is known as a border city. It sits at the very end of the VIA line that runs from Quebec down the very busy corridor that leads into the USA, on the shores of the Detroit River. The artists envision the boundary point functioning as a space for reflection and pause; a gathering place where people can come and connect with each other to bring something, show something, and share something.

Gather on the river bank, and take it from there.

This is a free event, open to all.

The travelling artists are Leah Houston, Michael Burtt, Nikki Shaffeeullah, Kate Romain and Rich Dreiger, Jason Doell, and Julia Hune-Brown.
