(WINDSOR, ON) – Art InDeed is a proud sponsor of the Breaking Barriers Art Exhibition, at the Leamington Arts Centre. There will be contributions from local organizations, including The Alzheimer’s Society, Roots 2 Wings, and House of Sophrosyne.

Also, there will be artwork submitted from children, teens, and adults of Art InDeed from all backgrounds and many life experiences.

Art InDeed, recent winner of the Canada-wide grant contest, is a proud sponsor of the Breaking Barriers Art Exhibit. This event is also being sponsored by Aleksander Estate Winery and hosted by the Leamington Arts Centre.

The exhibition’s focus is to create an understanding of lived experiences. The exhibition seeks to highlight resilience and resourcefulness in coping with barriers. A barrier can be anything that one must overcome to reach a goal, even if the goal is simply to survive.

Breaking Barriers is an exhibition for creative expression that empowers, builds awareness, and facilitates partnerships and collaborations. This is open to the entire community, so contributors range from first time creators and contributors to professional artists and sculptors.

The opening reception is this Friday, March 6 from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm at the Leamington Arts Centre.
