New Administrator For Huron Lodge

(WINDSOR, ON) – The City of Windsor has announced that Alina Sirbu is the new Administrator of Huron Lodge Long Term Care Facility.

Sirbu joins the Community Development and Health Services Department under Commissioner Jelena Payne. The appointment is effective July 28.

Ms Sirbu was chosen due to her extensive managerial experience and over ten years of experience in the long term care field. She has held both operational and administrative positions in the long term care sector and has experience in both union and non-union environments.

Most importantly, Ms Sirbu recognizes that Huron Lodge is the home of more than 200 residents, and she approaches all aspects of the job of Administrator with care, compassion and a focus on the residents and their families.

Prior to entering the long term care sector, Ms Sirbu worked with the Children’s Aid Society and Salvation Army, and she also taught primary school.

Ms Sirbu currently sits on several regional committees pertaining to health and long term care.
