(TORONTO, ON) – Mark your calendars for the eighth edition of International Female Ride Day on Saturday, 3 May.
International Female Ride Day has established a dedicated and growing force of female motorbike enthusiast’s through its one-of-a-kind globally synchronized motorcycle ride action. It has brought women together through motorcycling, across all cultures and borders, echoing women’s passion for the activity; all ages, all languages, and all forms.
“BMW Motorrad Canada has been part of this initiative Vicki started it in 2007, which has proven to be one of the most internationally recognized riding events for women,” said BMW Motorrad Director, Norm Wells. “The number of women riders has grown substantially over the past decade and we’re proud that we have been a big part of that growth. We’ve held women only test rides in three locations across Canada for the past 15 years, and look forward to continue supporting the women’s riding market. We wish everyone around the world a great ride day on 3 May.”
International Female Ride Day, and its Just Ride theme was created and introduced in 2007 and its mission is to promote women riders and encourage other women to take up the activity. International Female Ride Day is organized by MOTORESS magazine, the only global online publication for women motorcycle enthusiasts.
