Adventure Bay To Close

(WINDSOR, ON) – The City of Windsor will be adding a sand-based coating to the floor at Adventure Bay Family Water Park to improve traction for patrons. As a result, the park will be closed as of at 7:00 pm on February 23 and reopen at 4:00 pm on February 28.

The current epoxy-based flooring at the park meets all industry and safety standards. However, during the first weeks of operation, complaints from patrons has indicated that conditions could be improved.

Adventure Bay will remain open until February 23 but, as with any aquatic facility or pool, the City asks that patrons move with extreme caution along the surrounding surfaces.

The adjoining Windsor International Aquatic and Training Centre is not affected and will remain open as usual throughout the time period.

  1. Well what will this cost the taxpayers another $100,000.00, the price tag for this Aquatic Centre keeps getting higher every time you turn around.
