Witness Directs Police

(CHATHAM-KENT, ON) – A witness observed a vehicle being driven on Grand Avenue West in an erratic fashion and called police, all the while he kept updating the location of the suspect car. The police managed to catch-up and investigate the driver who was then arrested for the offence of impaired driving.

Later charged and released to appear in court on allegations of Impaired Driving and Drive While Over 80 Milligrams was Marcel Pinsonneault of Dover Township. He will also be serving a 90-day suspension from driving and the car was impounded for 7-days.

Our thanks to the caller for helping make our roads safer and assisting the police in getting an alleged impaired driver off the road.
