Cyclist Struck By Vehicle

(CHATHAM-KENT, ON) – The Chatham-Kent police investigate a collision in Chatham last night.

Emergency crews attended the intersection of Grand Avenue East and Van Allen Avenue in Chatham in response to a female cyclist struck by a vehicle.  A 37-year-old Chatham woman was transported to the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance with non-life threatening injuries.  Damage to the vehicle is estimated at $10,000.

A 48-year-old Chatham man has been charged with disobeying a red light.
