YQG Seeks To Serve Demand For Kitchener

By Dominic Carlone

(WINDSOR, ON) – The Windsor International Airport (YQG) seeks information from companies that have offices, plants, or facilities in both Windsor-Essex and Kitchener-Waterloo. The Airport has launched an air service survey, collecting data on travel patterns between the two communities that will be shared with prospective airlines in support of the recruitment of air service on the route. An airline has shown interest in serving the Windsor-Essex – Kitchener Waterloo route, and the data collected by the Airport will help ensure that airline has the best possible picture of the potential market strength.

The survey is open to anyone with an interest in the potential service, and can be reached through the Airport’s homepage, at www.yqg.ca.

Windsor International Airport (YQG) is owned by the City of Windsor as a federal share corporation. YQG is an airport serving scheduled and charter passenger airlines, private and military aircraft as well as cargo carriers. The Airport is situated near the international border between Canada and the United States.
