Cops Snag $100 G’s Of Pot

(CHATHAM-KENT, ON) – On the 16th day of December 2011, members of the Chatham-Kent Police Service Drug Enforcement Unit executed a search warrant pursuant to the Controlled Drugs and Substance Act at 2 locations in the Town of Morpeth, Ontario.

Over $130,000 of processed cannabis marihuana was seized along with drug paraphernalia.  Police also located a small amount of cocaine inside one of the residences.

As a result of these search warrants 1 male party has been arrested and charged with Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking Marihuana and Possession of cocaine.

The male, a resident of Morpeth, has been released with a future court date.
