(TORONTO, ON) – Holocaust Education Week, an annual event produced by the Neuberger every November, presents diverse educational, cultural and community programs, culminating in a Kristallnacht commemoration. The largest Holocaust educational forum of its kind, Holocaust Education Week features leading voices in Holocaust and Human Rights awareness at venues throughout the Greater Toronto Area and surrounding region.
We Who Survived
In honour of the 30th anniversary of Holocaust Education Week, this year’s program, “We Who Survived …” is dedicated to Holocaust survivors and the importance of Shoah testimony.
Join us in thinking, talking and learning about the legacies of Holocaust survivors. Let us be inspired by their wisdom and experiences and together pledge to preserve their stories to future generations so that “Never Again” has true meaning.
Holocaust Education Week 2010 presents a vast array of programming in a variety of multi-disciplinary formats:
– scholars from international centres of excellence
– artists, authors and performers interpreting our theme
– partnerships with local and regional institutions of distinction
– programs in French, Hebrew and Russian
– presentations for young audiences
Our signature Personal Testimonies by Holocaust survivor speakers are an especially poignant and timely opportunity to engage with “We Who Survived.”
