Human Remains Found In Chatham
(CHATHAM-KENT, ON) – The Chatham-Kent Police Service has completed their investigation into found human remains Monday on Stanley Avenue in Chatham.
A forensic anthropologist attended the scene and determined that the remains were female, age 25-40, pre 1870 and of European decent. No signs of trauma were found on the remains.
The investigation is no longer considered a police matter and the final determination for removal and transfer of the remains now rests with the Registrar of Cemeteries.
