Arrest Made In Stabbing Incident

(CHATHAM-KENT, ON) – The Chatham-Kent police have arrested a man in connection with a stabbing in Chatham.       

On June 15, 2012 at about 6:00 a.m. police responded to a residence on Wellington Street East in regards to a stabbing.  The 26-year-old male victim was transported to the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance for medical treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

Just before noon yesterday, police arrested a 22-year-old Chatham man wanted in connection with this incident.  He has been charged with aggravated assault and assault causing bodily harm.  He has been held in custody pending a bail hearing.
