Collision Sends Four To Hospital
(ESSEX, ON) – At approximately 2:00 p.m. yesterday, Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a three vehicle crash at the intersection of Highway 3 and Essex Road 8 in the westbound lanes.
Four parties were injured in the crash and taken to hospital; three with minor injuries and the fourth with serious injuries.
The westbound lanes of Highway 3 are closed from Victoria Avenue to Essex Road 8, as well as the intersection itself.
One eastbound lane remained open as the OPP Technical Collision Investigators were on scene for several hours.
